ADDITIONAL SERVICES


SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC

  • MONDAY AND TUESDAY – SAVE 10%!

These procedures can be combined with spay/neuter to reduce cost, lessen the anesthetic risk of multiple separate procedures and improve the quality of your pet’s life.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES FOR CANINES:

  • Deciduous (baby) Teeth Extraction
  • FEE = $50:  Retained teeth have not erupted and fallen out as normal and can cause permanent teeth to erupt abnormally.

  • Dental Cleaning
  • FEE SM/MED = $100 | FEE LG/XLG/GIANT =$125:  Routine dental cleaning without the need for extractions or radiographs.  Sealants and fillings are additional.

  • Canine Dewclaw Removal
  • FEE 2 CLAWS = $150 | FEE 4 CLAWS = $200:  Removal of the dewclaws in a dog to prevent future injury.

  • Preventive Gastropexy (stomach tacking)
  • FEE FEMALE = $300 | FEE MALES = $450:  Large breed dogs are susceptible to Gastric Dilated Volvulus (GDV) or bloat, a life threatening twisting of the stomach.  A gastropexy done at a young age is a simple procedure to prevent bloating.  Click here to read about bloating.

  • Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome (BAS) Surgery
  • FEE = $300:  Short-nosed dogs have breathing impairment because of their small nostrils and long soft palate causing damage to their respiratory system.  These dog’s often snort or breathe in a noisy fashion.  Surgical correction is simple and can greatly increase the quality of the pet’s life but must be done at a young age.  Surgery at an older age will improve breathing but will not reverse any existing respiratory damage.  Click here to read about BAS.
  • Hip and Elbow Radiographs (x-rays)
  • FEE HIPS = $60 | FEE ELBOWS =$120 | FEE HIPS & ELBOWS = $180:  Every large breed dog and even some medium breed dogs are susceptible to hip and elbow dysplasia.  Dysplasia is a deformity of the joints resulting in joints that don’t fit together well as the pet grows.  The end result of dysplasia is abnormally painful and arthritic joints.

  • Feline Declaw
  • FEE 2 PAWS = $150 | FEE 4 PAWS = $200:  Removal of the cat’s claws to prevent injury to people, pets and furniture.  This is typically done as a last resort.
